After the game, Coach Kim Ohlinger had the following comments, “coming off a tough loss to NDP, I was very pleased with the teams intentional decision to go into tonight focused on each other while starting off strong from the first rally. This team plays with such purpose and they refuse to give up! Getting this win to long-time rivals was a big confidence boost for us heading into next week when we come up against Veritas and head into the State Tournament. I love coaching this group of girls! They bring such heart and passion to the court every time they put on their jersey. You can’t coach that in a player. They have what it takes to compete at the State Championship level.”
The Eagles travel to Phoenix Country Day on Monday for a 5pm game before heading back home for a Wednesday match at 6pm against Veritas Prep for the Eagles final home game of the season. SCA will celebrate the Seniors that evening so make sure to come out and congratulate Taylor Raiola, Caroline Montgomery and Janna Williams on thier fabulous careers as Eagles.
